I keep these old messages here mostly because people keep finding them in Web searches, and I hate broken links. Most of those searches are about the FunLove virus, or the "Elf Bowl" game. These old postings should not be considered authoritative on those subjects!

To get rid of the virus you have to disconnect all computers from your network and format all the hard drives, then re-instal the operating system. Believe me I've had it lots of times and I can't think of any other way to get rid of it. If you had norton anti virus atou-portect enabled then you shouldn't have to worry, but if you didn't have an antivirus then you're pretty much screwed.
